Left:  Thomas Jonathan “Stonewall” Jackson (1824-63) is shown in the portrait above the actual shoulder epaulettes he wore during the Mexican War (1846-48) shortly after graduating from West Point.
Center: The original Battle Flag of the 19th Georgia Infantry under the command of COL John H. Neal is proudly displayed among the many flags in the museum.

Right:  The museum Curator, Van Seagraves, is teaching a young boy how to properly load gun powder into an old musket in preparation for firing.

Here a group of students have a chance to see actual old weapons and are being taught the purpose of each and how it was operated. The young boys are always interested in this display.
