Introduction: There were approximately 170 battles and skirmishes fought in the State of Florida. While most were small; many were very interesting. We will deal with several of the more pivotal battles. During a visit to the museum, our guides would be happy to go into as much detail as you might like but our purpose here is simply to introduce the visitor to Florida, the War Between the States best kept secret.
